Our Community Living Insurance Policy has been designed to cover all types of residential, commercial and industrial community living schemes including Sectional Title Developments, Share Blocks, Home Owners Associations and Retirement Villages.
We understand better than anyone the intricacies and risks unique to this market and the associated insurance and legislative requirements. The CIA Community Living Insurance Policy is an Assets All Risk policy and is progressive in its cover of accidental or unforeseen loss or damage faced by community schemes.

AVERAGE WAIVER & VALUATION SERVICE
One of the many changes to the Sectional Title Schemes Management Act, 2011 which was Gazetted in October 2016 is the requirement for Schemes to obtain a replacement valuation of all buildings and improvements that they must insure, at least every three years. This places an ongoing onerous duty on the Trustees to ensure that the body corporate is correctly insured for the correct replacement value.
We have partnered with Mirfin, a leading professional valuation company who specialise in body corporate valuations, to offer an average waiver extension on our Community Living Policy which includes a free valuation service every three years.
